Maroussia Terrana, Belgian artist currently living in Italy.
Autodidact painter since October 2019.
Start painting in "La Bottega dell'arte" with Italian teacher and artist Samantha Capaldo. The embrace of art is finally revived, and creation resumes its course.
Moving to Torino, Italy. After these past years of intense painting and steady artistic production, a real wilderness period beings, and won't paint anyting until January 2025.
From February 2023 to April 2024, collaboration with the online gallery Balthasart.
Exhibition in Maraya Coliving in Tenerife, Spain. Collaborative art exhibition with different artists from the island.
Since September 2020, starting giving punctual art therapy workshops in a reception centre for migrants people, using art as a means of expression.
Moving to Tenerife, Canary Islands. Starting painting in Arte Y Hobby Artesanías Y Manualidades with Marcela Criollo Velez, Colombian artist and teacher.
Starting first commissions work.
Moving to Dominican Republic. There, in a small fishermen village of Bayahibe, I met an Haitian painter, Oscar Moreau, who owns his art gallery. Oscar taught me to paint, and I worked one month with him in his gallery, selling my first artworks.
Taking advantage of this free time to start something new : painting appears in my life, and my autodidact path just began.
Moving to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. After 7 months working in the island, my company goes into bankruptcy.
